WAN LI, is an interdisciplinary artist based in China and an MFA graduate of the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA). Her research-based practice moves across single- and multi-channel video, acoustic field recordings, speculative body prostheses, site-specific performance, and self-published artist books and zines. Her work examines spatial-temporal politics and geomorphic transformation, foregrounding feminine and marginal narratives that surface within rapidly modernizing landscapes. Deploying the body as a counter-decoder through performance and wearable prostheses, she transforms self-published media into mobile sites of social resistance.

Her site-specific research and installations have been commissioned by Qu Zhou Art Museum (KẺ GUĨ Project) and produced with the support of UFO Terminal (Loading... Project). Her works and self-published media have also been presented across institutions such as the CAFA Art Museum and Three Shadows Photography Art Centre.
